I research the impact of disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration (DDR) programs on peace, with a focus on gender dynamics. Currently, I lead the DISARM project, funded by the Norwegian Research Council, examining how disarmament affects conflict recurrence.
In 2024, I am a Fellow at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). I am an Integrated DDR Training Group member, fostering collaboration between research, policy, and practice.
